Operating Principle and Strategy

The scope of the work of Havasu-HWOC ranges from prenatal to geriatric. Epigenetically babies yet to be born inherit from their mothers the environmental influences of their inner ecology. As a result, if the mothers were stressed during pregnancy, the baby is born stressed. We can work with the mothers to be before the babies are born to minimize the epigenetic inheritance, we can work with the mothers after the babies are born, and we can work with their babies in early childhood when they are able to understand simple instruction. We can work with our senior citizens as long as they can breathe and they can understand.

The operation of Havasu-HWOC will be all-inclusive, educational and non-discriminatory, looking down upon none.

Strategy of Havasu-HWOC:

1. Stress resilience through communities of practice of different mind-body techniques will be the primary vehicle in the work of H-HWOC
2. Creating communities of practice of yoga postures and related body arts
3. Creating communities of practice in deliberate breathing techniques harnessing life energy through breath
4. Creating communities of practice of contemplation and meditation
5. Reaching out to the vulnerable in the wider community at large
